Soccer Game Preview: Gainesville vs. Unity Reed

The Gainesville Cardinals will face off against the Unity Reed Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Unity Reed took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gainesville, who comes in off a win.

Gainesville is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 6-3 margin over Freedom on Friday.

Meanwhile, Unity Reed was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Osbourn Park, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that Unity Reed have lost by exactly five goals.

Gainesville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for Unity Reed, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
