Baseball Recap: Villanova Prep Comes Up Short

Villanova Prep fell victim to Ojai Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Ojai Valley Spuds. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Spuds recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Villanova Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ojai Valley, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Villanova Prep will venture away from home to challenge San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Villanova Prep is facing San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at the right time seeing as San Luis Obispo Classical Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Ojai Valley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hillcrest Christian on April 15th.
