Football Game Preview: Riverview Sarasota Rams vs. Manatee Hurricanes + How To Watch

Riverview Sarasota has gone 6-1 against Manatee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams will face off against the Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Friday, Riverview Sarasota blew past Lehigh, posting a 49-14 victory. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Lightning recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Riverview Sarasota's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Belt, who rushed for 122 yards and two scores on only 14 carries. With that strong performance, Belt is now averaging an impressive 100.3 rushing yards per game. Trenton Huffman also helped out with an impressive 104 receiving yards.

Riverview Sarasota didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gabarre Farlin and Cash Hu.

Meanwhile, after only 13 points in their last contest, Manatee made sure to put some points up on the board against Braden River on Friday. The Hurricanes simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pirates 55-20. With the Hurricanes ahead 38-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Manatee's win came from a few key players Riverview Sarasota will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caedon White, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Manatee is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise. Mason Summer was another key player, throwing for 202 yards and two TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes.

Riverview Sarasota's record now sits at 7-1-1. As for Manatee, their record is now 4-5.

Riverview Sarasota didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Manatee in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 35-30 win.
