Enrique Armas, Holtville's leading rusher, solidified his role on Thursday. Armas made a splash, rushing for 209 yards and three TDs on only ten carries. He was up against Southwest EC and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in August of 2024. Armas has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last 11 times he's played.

Coming up, Armas and Holtville will take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The contest will pit Armas up against the Spartans' star rusher Matthew Lizaola.
