After only two runs in their last match, South Ridge made sure to put some runs up on the board against Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin on Friday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 18-3 victory. Considering the Panthers have won five contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

South Ridge's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, South Ridge and Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin will both be playing Cherry the next time they take the field. The Raiders will head out to face the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
