Basketball Recap: Dimmitt Takes a Loss

Dimmitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 51-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Littlefield Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 559th, while the Wildcats are ranked 186th).

Dimmitt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Littlefield, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dimmitt will host Friona at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Littlefield, they will square off against Idalou at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
