Basketball Recap: Post Falls Takes a Loss

Post Falls was the 40-31 winner over West Valley when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Post Falls Trojans opened the new year with a less-than-successful 62-50 defeat to the West Valley Rams. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Post Falls' loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for West Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Post Falls will head out to take on Coeur d'Alene at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coeur d'Alene is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season. As for West Valley, they will take on Sunnyside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. West Valley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three matches.
