Baseball Recap: Evart Takes a Loss

Evart lost against Beal City on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Aggies, falling 9-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evart saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Sean Jackson was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Evart's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Beal City, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Evart is taking a road trip to square off against Lake City at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beal City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roscommon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Bucks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
