It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Hamburg ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Warren Lumberjacks. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won three in a row.

Hamburg's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Warren, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-6.

Coming up, Hamburg will face off against Crossett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Warren, they will square off against DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
