Softball Recap: Dixie Greyhounds vs. Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks

After flying high against Franklin Monroe on Thursday, Dixie came back down to earth. The Greyhounds took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their meetings with the Blackhawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Jacie Hartimer made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Bethany Himan, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
