Soccer Recap: East Duplin Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

It's playoff time, and East Duplin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Washington Pam Pack on Monday. The win was nothing new for East Duplin as they're now sitting on three straight.

Miranda Roblero and Katelyn Jones scored all three of East Duplin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

East Duplin's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five matchups. As for Washington, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3-1.

Looking ahead, East Duplin will take on Roanoke Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roanoke Rapids will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something East Duplin surely won't give up without a fight. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
