Baseball Recap: Capital City Comes Up Short

Capital City lost against Union back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cavaliers took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Capital City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Capital City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-4 loss against Camdenton on the 15th. As for Union, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Southern Boone on the 12th.
