Basketball Recap: Terrebonne Beats Lutcher for Their Third Straight Victory

Terrebonne had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They secured a 60-54 W over the Lutcher Bulldogs. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

It was another big night for Rhanige Smith, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Caine Ray, who posted 13 points.

Terrebonne has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Lutcher, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Terrebonne will take on Central Catholic in a tournament on December 27th. Terrebonne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season. As for Lutcher, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-50 loss against St. Augustine on the 23rd.
