Baseball Game Preview: First Assembly Christian Crusaders vs. Arlington Tigers

First Assembly Christian hasn't had much luck against Arlington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Crusaders are taking a road trip to square off against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

First Assembly Christian is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. George's.

First Assembly Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Lee, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Ryker Minor was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Arlington duked it out with Brighton on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 15, 2024.

Arlington has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for First Assembly Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-1.
