Volleyball Recap: Proviso West Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Proviso West had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the North Chicago Warhawks on Monday.

Proviso West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-7.

Proviso West's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for North Chicago, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Proviso West will take on Leyden at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Chicago, they will challenge Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
