Football Recap: Creekview Skates Past White with Ease + How To Watch

A well-balanced attack led Creekview over White in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mustangs blew the Longhorns out of the water with a 42-13 final score. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won five contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Creekview was led to victory by Cason Garcia and Brendyn Shed. Garcia rushed for 102 yards and two scores, while Shed rushed for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. Kenyon Evans helped out on the ground, rushing for 86 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Creekview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 350 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Creekview's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average over those games. As for White, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Creekview will be playing at home against Turner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White, they will take on Newman Smith at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
