Basketball Game Preview: Brandon Blackhawks vs. Holly Bronchos

Brandon is 2-8 against Holly since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Brandon Blackhawks will head out to square off against the Holly Bronchos at 7:00 p.m.

Brandon is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 66-52 to Clio.

Meanwhile, Holly can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They managed a 55-49 win over Linden. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bronchos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 577th, while the Eagles are ranked 168th).

Holly's win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12. As for Brandon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Brandon ended up a good deal behind Holly when the teams last played back in January of 2023, losing 80-65. Can Brandon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
