Baseball Recap: Briarcliff Gets the Win

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Briarcliff and Pawling had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bears won by a run and slipped past the Tigers 11-10. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Max Amador was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zachary Seim, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Briarcliff's win bumped their record up to 13-6-1. As for Pawling, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Briarcliff nor Pawling have any future games scheduled.
