Volleyball Game Preview: East Wake Warriors vs. Vance County Vipers

The East Wake Warriors will face off against the Vance County Vipers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

East Wake came up short against Franklinton on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Vance County lost 3-0 to Warren County on Monday.

Vance County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-22.

East Wake's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Vance County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

East Wake took their victory against Vance County in their previous matchup on September 11th by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Vipers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
