Darlington put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Temple. Darlington has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Temple, too.

While Darlington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Ruthie Brinson paced Darlington's offense, picking up ten kills. Brinson got some help from Bryn Merritt and her 12 assists. Merritt also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sidney Rush, racking up two apiece.

Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Temple, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Coincidentally, Darlington and Temple will both be playing Villa Rica the next time they take the court. Temple will host Villa Rica at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Darlington will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
