Basketball Recap: Atlantic Christian Piles Up the Points Against Abundant Life Academy

Atlantic Christian extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping them up to 4-1. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Abundant Life Academy 73-32. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Caden Kim had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 50% from the field en route to 29 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two). Gabe Correa also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Atlantic Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Abundant Life Academy only racked up seven.

As for Abundant Life Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since February 7th.

Abundant Life Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Franklin Fabre, who posted seven points and five boards. Josh Amoah was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Looking ahead, Atlantic Christian will take on Mount Airy Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday. As for Abundant Life Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Emmanuel Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m.
