Football Game Preview: Hayfork Timberjacks vs. Tulelake Honkers + Official Tickets

The Hayfork Timberjacks will square off against the Tulelake Honkers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Tulelake's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Hayfork hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. The Timberjacks breezed past the Honkers to the tune of 60-0 last Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Timberjacks in their matchups with the Honkers: they've now won four in a row.

Levi Cavalli was his usual excellent self, rushing for 259 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 21st straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Daryn Douglas was another key player, rushing for 86 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hayfork was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 417 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Hayfork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Evan Pickett and Mukeng Yang. Hayfork received some extra help from Cavalli, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Tulelake now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Hayfork, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
