 Rice Lake lost against Chippewa Falls last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Rice Lake Warriors took  a  13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chippewa Falls Cardinals. Rice Lake has not had much luck with Chippewa Falls recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
  Addie Seelow and  Madi Rowe stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Seelow  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, while  Rowe  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.  Ava Anderson was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Rice Lake's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-6. As for Chippewa Falls, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with that  victory, which was their 11th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Rice Lake will head out on the road to  square off against  Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so Rice Lake's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Chippewa Falls, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  an  8-6  win vs. Superior on the 26th.
