Mountain View's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Heritage on Friday. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 21-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Thunder were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Shelton came up short against Evergreen on Friday and fell 27-20.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Shelton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Mountain View against Shelton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 37-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
