Baseball Recap: Bigelow Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Bigelow took on Booneville on Monday. Bigelow came up short against Booneville, falling 13-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bigelow saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Platt, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Bigelow's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Booneville, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bigelow will face off against Mt. Vernon-Enola at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Booneville, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ozark at 4:30 p.m.
