It was a good run, but Providence Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Discovery Titans by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Providence Christian Academy came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Discovery are ranked 373rd).

Providence Christian Academy's goal came courtesy of Gracie Gue, who's now up to ten this season.

Providence Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Discovery, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Coming up, Providence Christian Academy will be playing at home against Athens Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Discovery, they will head out on the road to challenge Buford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Buford will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Discovery surely won't give up without a fight.
