Basketball Recap: Pieper Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Pieper Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the New Braunfels Unicorns and fell 72-70. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pieper still got an impressive performance from MAYSON THOMAS, who went 8 of 13 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of PARKER GOLSCH, who posted 14 points and seven boards.

Pieper's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for New Braunfels, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wagner the next time they take the court. Pieper will host Wagner at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while New Braunfels will host them at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th.
