Softball Recap: Woodland Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Woodland came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Buford Yellow Jackets, falling 15-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolverines have suffered since April 15th.

Woodland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Mccarthy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Woodland's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Buford, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

As of now, neither Woodland nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
