Emery is 10-0 against North Sanpete since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Emery Spartans will be playing at home against the North Sanpete Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Thursday, Emery was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-54 to Carbon.

Meanwhile, North Sanpete ended up a good deal behind Manti on Thursday and lost 50-35. The Hawks have struggled against the Templars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Emery will have to keep a close watch on Lucy Hiatt and Sadie Job, a pair of players who had a big impact on North Sanpete's prior game. Hiatt posted six points and seven boards, while Job had 12 points and five rebounds. Madison Johansen was another key player, putting up two points and five boards.

Even though they lost, North Sanpete smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Emery's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for North Sanpete, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Emery strolled past North Sanpete when the teams last played back in January by a score of 62-45. Will Emery repeat their success, or does North Sanpete have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
