Warren Hills Regional took a serious blow against Summit last week, falling 8-45.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Summit in their previous contest, Montgomery were happy to find some success. Montgomery enjoyed a cozy 41-21 victory over Scotch Plains-Fanwood.

Montgomery's win lifted them to 1-1 while Warren Hills Regional's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. In their win, Montgomery relied heavily on junior Lucas Kopecky, who caught passes for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. Warren Hills Regional will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
