North Posey has gone 6-1 against Wood Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will welcome the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in North Posey's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Wood Memorial has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Things were looking good for North Posey after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Boonville by a score of 5-4.

North Posey saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Vaughn, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wood Memorial came up short against Perry Central on Tuesday and fell 11-6.

North Posey's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Wood Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Everything went North Posey's way against Wood Memorial in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, as North Posey made off with an 11-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
