Basketball Recap: World of Inquiry's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

World of Inquiry managed to keep up with East until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The World of Inquiry Griffins lost 72-46 to the East Eagles. The Griffins haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

World of Inquiry's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaedon Adams, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds, and Curtis Bell, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

World of Inquiry's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-1. As for East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. World of Inquiry will welcome Penn Yan Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. World of Inquiry is facing Penn Yan Academy at the right time seeing as Penn Yan Academy is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for East, they will host Erie on Saturday.
