Basketball Recap: Overland Christian Takes a Loss

Overland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a hard 44-25 fall against the Christian Learning Center Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagle this season, with their most recent loss being a 53-24 defeat back in January.

Christian Learning Center got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adelyn Paranto out in front who posted 14 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Paranto is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Martin, who scored seven points along with seven boards and three steals.

Overland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Christian Learning Center, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Overland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Learning Center, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-23 defeat against Heartland on the 6th.
