Baseball Recap: Eastern Randolph Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Eastern Randolph challenged Croatan on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern Randolph saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chance Holdaway, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Eastern Randolph's record is now 7-11. As for Croatan, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Randolph will host North Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Croatan, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Swansboro at 6:30 p.m.
