Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Victory Christian Academy played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Rockwell Christian School Chargers 71-42. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Javan Erwin, who posted 13 points. Orlando Little was another key player, putting up ten points.

Victory Christian Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3. As for Rockwell Christian School, they moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Shining Light Baptist Academy the next time they take the court. Rockwell Christian School will host Shining Light Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Victory Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
