Basketball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Bradley-Bourbonnais came into Tuesday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Stagg Chargers 49-47. The win was all the more spectacular given the Boilermakers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Chargers are ranked 155th).

Bradley-Bourbonnais' victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-12 and their overall record up to 4-18. As for Stagg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.
