Softball Recap: Sugar Creek Charter Takes a Loss

Sugar Creek Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Sugar Creek Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Sugar Creek Charter will host Jackson Day at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they are taking a road trip to take on Highland Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Piedmont Community Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.
