Willard came tearing into Thursday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats with a sharp 18-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 36 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Willard pushed their record up to 40-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Logan-Rogersville, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-6.
