Volleyball Recap: Cheraw Comes Up Short

After flying high against Walsh on Friday, Cheraw came back down to earth. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Simla Cubs on Saturday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Cubs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-18, 25-16.

Cheraw's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Simla, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Cheraw will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Fleming at 1:00 p.m. As for Simla, they will head out to face off against Monument Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
