Softball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Gets the Win

Legacy Christian Academy won the last time they faced Frisco and things went their way on Friday too. The Legacy Christian Academy Eagles walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Frisco Raccoons. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly three runs.

The team relied heavily on Lynlee Kennedy, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. What's more, she also posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Sydney Cox also deserves some recognition as she stolen her first stolen base of the season.

Legacy Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frisco only posted an OBP of .400.

The win made it two in a row for Legacy Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games.
