Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University Prep). Everything went their way against the Serrano Diamondbacks on Saturday as the University Prep Jaguars made off with a 5-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jaguars needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

They hit Serrano with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Elijah Adesida (2), Ashkawn Sanaei, Adan Sanchez, and Angel Herrera.

The win got University Prep back to even at 3-3-1. As for Serrano, they now have a losing record at 2-3-1.

University Prep wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 defeat against Etiwanda on the 14th. As for Serrano, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Victor Valley on the 14th.
