Football Game Preview: Coosa Eagles vs. Armuchee Indians + How To Watch

The Coosa Eagles will take on the Armuchee Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Coosa and 12 for Armuchee dating back to last season.

Coosa is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Christian Heritage on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles took a blow against the Lions, falling 49-21. The Eagles were down 42-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Although Coosa took the loss, they still got scores from Xander Sledge, Timbo Mitchell, and Jordan Scott.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Armuchee's offense. They were dealt a 34-0 defeat at the hands of Dade County on Friday.

Armuchee's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Coosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coosa didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Armuchee when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 19-14 win.
