Arlington Heights had won five straight games and Deshawn Long did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Arlington Heights Yellowjackets escaped with a win against the Paschal Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57 thanks in part to Long, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 27 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Da?Marcus Jones was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five boards and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

Arlington Heights pushed their record up to 17-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
