Valley Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Folsom Bulldogs  3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Warriors have posted  since March 25th.
 Forest Zelmer looked comfortable as he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Hunter Fujimoto, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.
Valley Christian pushed their record up to 17-4-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games.
