Volleyball Recap: Priest River Starts off Right with Win over Bonners Ferry + How To Watch

Priest River had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Bonners Ferry Badgers by a score of 3-1. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Badgers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Priest River walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Callie Stanger was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 16 digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Bonners Ferry is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Priest River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Genesis Prep Academy on the 28th. As for Bonners Ferry, they will take on Sandpoint at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
