Basketball Recap: Surry HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Surry HomeSchool played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder 74-46. The Runnin' Patriots haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Luke Coletta was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 11 en route to 21 points along with seven assists and five steals for Chatham HomeSchool. Coletta's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Coletta, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Surry HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Chatham HomeSchool, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

Surry HomeSchool will head out on the road to face off against Forsyth Home Educators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-57 defeat against Greater Cabarrus S on the 25th.
