Football Recap: Corbin's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Corbin was the 28-12 winner over Pulaski County when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Redhounds took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maroons on Friday. The loss was the Redhounds' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Corbin fell to 3-1. As for Pulaski County, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Corbin will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Frederick Douglass at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pulaski County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Johnson Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Maroons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
