Basketball Recap: Waukegan's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Waukegan and Warren Township squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Waukegan had to settle for second. They took a 70-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Township Blue Devils. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (59), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Waukegan's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points over those games. As for Warren Township, they pushed their record up to 25-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Waukegan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren Township, they have already played their next contest, a 60-48 victory against Rolling Meadows on the 10th.
