Basketball Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Warren County lost against Cannon County back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers lost to the Cannon County Lions at home by a 53-36 margin. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Cannon County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Warren County will look to defend their home court on Monday against Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. Warren County is facing Spring Hill at the right time seeing as Spring Hill is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Cannon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
