Soccer Game Preview: May River vs. Bridges Prep

May River's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Bluffton. May River might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Madalynn Baker and Rebekah Hoover scored all three of May River's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five contests, Bridges Prep finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to Academic Magnet. Bridges Prep's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

May River's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four matchups. As for Bridges Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
